Minutes roll -crashing onto the shore.
The sun dips into the Pacific slowly.
Clouds continue drifting east
pulling the sailboats ashore.
Soon hours have passed while nothing has changed.
Nature’s story is background noise
to the sounds of mankind.
There is no serenity here.
Friday night and Saturday we spent walking the stand in Oceanside, a beautiful view albeit the cars driving down, breaking down and the roars of the people drowning out the ocean’s voice. The breeze and Pacific mist let perfect against my skin.We chat and drank and walked for days enjoying good company and good sites. The best pizza spot in town is by far Carmine’s on PCH, try it if you are ever passing through! So good we had it both trips and they had remembered us from the night before! The boys like their cannoli -I am not a huge dessert fan, so I passed on it. So far the weekend has been super enjoyable. Pepper spent time playing with my braid this morning. I have been notified that I need to brush my teeth, sometimes it’s after noon when I get around to that activity.
Who knows what today has in store.
